CD1 GOP Victory Office To Work Hard For Raye In CD2

Suggested subhead: Where in the world is Jon Courtney?

The Maine Grand Old Party is having a grand old opening in Westbrook which is firmly in the middle of the First Congressional District to:

“Help elect Mitt Romney for President,
Charlie Summers for U.S. Senate, and
Kevin Raye for the House of Representatives.”

No mention is made whatsoever of their Republican First Congressional District nominee Jon “Landslide” Courtney. Perhaps they can also post the Courtney concession speech now.

Oh, one suggestion, Jon: If you go and decide to “bring a salad, side dish, snack, or dessert to share,” make it an extra special tasty one that will get fondly talked about in the Westbrook office but skip any recipe that uses mustard.

    It sounds like they’re doing the same thing in this race that the Democrats are doing in the Senate race — ignoring the candidate they don’t think has a chance of winning. Though this is a level of political face slapping for a candidate that I’ve not seen from either party.
